Engagement and Facilitation Specialist

Virginia Ferguson Crane is a proud member of Tsuut’ina Nation in southern Alberta. As an Engagement and Facilitation Specialist at Creative Fire, Virginia is known for her grounded facilitation style, creating space for open, honest conversations and ensuring community voices are meaningfully reflected throughout the project lifecycle.

Virginia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from MacEwan University, which informs her thoughtful, people-centred approach to engagement. Her work focuses on supporting project teams to build relationships that reflect both community priorities and project needs.

Her experience, particularly in the construction sector, spans Western and Eastern Canada, where she has led engagement efforts and supported regional teams across a range of projects. This cross-country perspective has shaped her understanding of the diverse contexts that inform Indigenous partnerships.
