Indigenous Engagement Consultant

Paula Ward is a proud Mi’kmaw woman from Natoaganeg (Eel Ground) First Nation with an MBA in Indigenous Business Leadership from Simon Fraser University. With a strong background in Indigenous Economic and Community Development, she is dedicated to supporting Indigenous communities through meaningful engagement and innovative solutions. 

Paula has extensive experience in community engagement, project management, and event planning, with a focus on advancing Indigenous-led projects. Her work includes supporting innovative energy initiatives such as geothermal and nuclear (SMR) technology projects aimed at sustainable energy solutions for First Nations.

When she’s not working, Paula enjoys golfing, baking, exploring new adventures with her kids, hitting the powwow trail in the Maritimes, and cherishing her roots through Mi’kmaw traditions.
