Creative Fire was asked to create a name and visual identity for a joint venture that focused on the safe reclamation of lands, such as mine sites. The name had to reflect the fact that the entity was First Nations majority-owned, as well as its goal of creating equity and parity for Indigenous opportunity through innovative mine reclamation.
We consulted with Indigenous Elders and created a name that was Dene in origin, using the theme of building for future generations. The visual identity reflected the forward-looking theme while representing all three members of the joint venture.
