Jordan Baptiste is a nationally recognized leader in Indigenous economic reconciliation, corporate strategy, and nation-based business development. As Partner and President of Creative Fire, Canada’s only 100% Indigenous community-owned, rights-based strategy and creative firm, Jordan has transformed the organization into a powerhouse of purpose-driven innovation—aligning top-tier strategy, marketing, and engagement services with the deep values and sovereignty of Indigenous Peoples.

With a career grounded in both corporate leadership and Indigenous rights advocacy, Jordan is redefining how Canada does business. He is a trusted advisor to executive boards, institutional investors, and Indigenous governments alike—known for bringing clarity, conviction, and courageous leadership to complex intersections of business, policy, and reconciliation.

Jordan has led transformative projects across resource development, infrastructure, banking, energy, and government sectors, helping clients build authentic partnerships rooted in rights recognition, shared value, and long-term impact. Under his leadership, Creative Fire has grown into a critical bridge between corporate Canada and Indigenous Nations—bringing credibility, creativity, and cultural fluency to the national reconciliation conversation.

Prior to leading Creative Fire, Jordan served as Vice President of Business Development for the Des Nedhe Group, a First Nation–owned economic development corporation, where he helped expand Indigenous participation across multi-sector supply chains and strategic partnerships. He also brings deep operational and field knowledge from his time as an Executive at Xtended Hydraulics & Machine, where he built Indigenous workforce and procurement models from the ground up—earning trust across industry and community alike.

Jordan’s leadership philosophy is rooted in Indigenous worldviews, economic sovereignty, and generational thinking. He frequently speaks at national forums, contributes to policy dialogues, and serves on several boards focused on advancing Indigenous participation in Canada’s economy—including in infrastructure, trade, and natural resources.
