First Nations University – NCCIE

Learning by doing is a basic tenant for Indigenous Education. With the National Centre for Collaboration in Indigenous Education, First Nations University set out to understand exactly how Indigenous Education is happening at the community level. We were there to connect the “doers” across Canada in sharing their unique initiatives, perspectives and knowledge. Providing logistics and planning support for a dozen workshops in, sometimes remote, locations all over the country, we took care of even the smallest of details to ensure that sharing could happen without barriers. Culminating in a National Forum in Ottawa, our team planned, managed and executed a two-day event that allowed for elders, youth and educators to come together and deepen the conversation around what Indigenous Education means in this time, in our communities.

Victoria’s Secret

There’s no denying that Victoria’s Secret likes to get noticed. As Midtown Plaza prepared to open the first Victoria’s Secret in Saskatchewan, we were called in to plan an event that helped drive retail sales far beyond the opening-day targets.

Hockey Canada

Teamwork wins championships – and drives great events. Our team worked alongside Hockey Canada and the crew of TCU Place to execute the 2017 Hockey Canada Foundation Gala in Saskatoon. Together, we built a game plan that gave the champions of Canadian hockey a night to remember and delivered significant funding to help the sport continue to grow across the country.


When PotashCorp brought We Day to Saskatchewan, we designed an activation area to capture the energy of 15,000 teen activists and built a social media centre that let them share their stories with the world.

Métis Nation – Saskatchewan

More than 100 delegates and observers attend Métis Nation – Saskatchewan’s bi-annual Legislative Assembly – and even more watch the events on a live stream. Creative Fire works with MN-S staff and technical crews in various cities to brand and facilitate the weekend long events. You can watch the productions here.

Wanuskewin Heritage Park

Wanuskewin hosted the Thundering Ahead Campaign Launch to mark the beginning of its journey to obtain a Unesco World Heritage designation. In addition to the branding and creative development, we were proud to design and manage a unique technical setup in the beautiful setting of the Great Room.

JNE Welding

Event in the middle of a fabrication shop? Check. When JNE Welding announced their partnership with Peter Ballantyne and English River First Nations, they wanted the sparks to fly. Making the most of the enormous space in the room, we suspended a rear screen projection rig from a motorized hoist in the ceiling. We could use one of those at every event.


We were happy to help Canpotex through a number of events during the course of planning and completing their state-of-the-art railcar maintenance facility out side of Lanigan, SK. We organized food, shelter, transportation and venue logistics for events ranging from indoor community consultations and job fairs through to the outdoor ground breaking and grand opening celebrations.

Patuanak Community Day

We helped pull together a day of celebration where all the members of English River First Nation and all the Des Nedhe family of companies got together to share stories and build relationships. Everyone in the Community was welcome. There were games for the kids, a comfy spot for the elders and food for everyone. That fish was crazy good.

Country Rock

When PotashCorp sponsored the 2017 Country Music Awards in Saskatoon, they brought Brett Kissel in to rock the house. Creative Fire produced a private concert one kilometre below the ground at the Allan mine outside of Saskatoon. You can watch the highlights of his journey here.
